Why we built it
Family-service businesses are run by people who are great at care and stuck doing the back office at night: chasing bookings across text messages, rebuilding a schedule every time someone calls out, invoicing from a spreadsheet. The tools that could help were built for restaurants or salons and never quite fit.
Sitterz is built for this specific shape of business. It brings the pieces an agency actually uses — a booking flow, customer records, staff scheduling, a website, and payments — into a single system that speaks the language of the work.
What Sitterz is — and isn't
Sitterz sells software, not care. The platform displays the information a business enters and helps it run day to day. It does not employ, vet, background-check, certify, rate, match, or guarantee any caregiver. Each business on Sitterz is independently owned and operated and is solely responsible for its own hiring, screening, insurance, and compliance.
That boundary shapes the whole product. We give owners powerful tools to run a trustworthy business; we don't make claims about the people they employ.
